Sal Stewart is a student-athlete who leads others by setting a strong example with his hard work and dedication. Since the age of 3, Sal Jr. has been playing both baseball and basketball and has grown to be a top competitor both on the field and on the court. His passion and intensity for sports is evident in every game he plays. He spends numerous hours a week perfecting his skills and continues to make strides on his journey to becoming one of the best athletes in the state of Florida. At the age of 14, he’s already won numerous awards and has been recognized for his unwavering dedication to sports.
Sal Jr. currently competes for Belen Jesuit Preparatory School’s baseball team and travels with US Elite Baseball 14U. He also completed his second season on the Belen basketball team. A eighth-grade student at Belen, he maintains a 4.0 grade point average and has made the Principal’s Honor Roll since Kindergarten. His dedication both in sports and in the classroom makes him a well-rounded student-athlete.
Taking on the challenge of playing two sports and maintaining a high grade point average is not an easy task. It takes an extreme amount of sacrifice and commitment from Sal Jr. Along with the long practice schedule, he also dedicates time to fundraising. The funds raised are used to supplement all the expenses that are incurred throughout the year. Sal travels to several tournaments all across Florida and the United States. Uniforms and equipment need to purchased and maintained as well. It is for this reason that your help is needed.
